Nigerian skit maker,, Zicsaloma has opened up on the reason behind his decision to undergo rhinoplasty, which is a surgical procedure that reconstructs or repairs the nose.

Recall that the skit maker went under the knife in January 2025, in Tokyo, to reshape his nose.

Although, his decision to undergo nose surgery has been met with criticisms from many netizens. However, addressing his critics in a YouTube video, Zicsaloma revealed that many people undergo nose surgery for different reasons, but his was due to insecurities about the structure of his nose.

He stated that he was faced with criticism while growing up due to his flat nose, and now that he has the money to restructure it, people are criticizing hos decision.

He said:
"Some people undergo rhinoplasty because of breathing problems, while others do it because they don’t like the shape of their nose—like me. In my case, it is aesthetic.

"Right from childhood, I have always wanted to reconstruct my flat nose. I was constantly ridiculed. People said my nose was too ugly and too big. So, if you don’t have the money or the courage to correct your insecurities, that doesn’t mean you should judge another person.”
