Nigerians Urge Chelsea Football Club To Honour Late Mr Ibu
Many Nigerians have not been able to get over the death of popular comic actor, John Ikechukwu Okafor, fondly known as Mr Ibu. The actor's death was announced on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 and since then, many have began sending tributes to the late actor.
However, to further honour the late comic actor, many Nigerians have called on the Chelsea football club, which the late actor supported during his lifetime. It was a public knowledge that the actor was an ardent supporter of the London based club.
The actor during his lifetime never hid his love for Chelsea football club, as he also revealed in an interview in 2017. He said; “I love Chelsea with all my blood. My wife gave birth to a baby girl outside the country. Even before I saw my baby, she already gave her Chelsea. That is to tell you..in my house, my house is called Stamford Bridge”
Many fans of the late actor have been clamouring for the London based club to honour the death of the late actor, since he was a true supporter before his death.
It could be recalled that Mr Ibu embattled various health conditions which led to the amputation of one of his legs before his eventual death on Saturday.
