Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has lambasted legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, best known as 2Baba, following his appearance at the Edo State Assembly.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that social media was in disarray recently after legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, announced his divorce from Annie Idibia.

Barely some weeks since his divorce announcement, 2Baba has now caused a stir on social media after images and videos of him at the Edo State Assembly emerged online.

Many social media users have linked 2Baba's appearance at the Edo State Assembly as a confirmation of his ongoing relationship with Edo State politician Natasha Osawaru.

Greatly displeased with 2Baba's action, Uche Maduagwu slammed the singer, he described him as a great dad but a very insensitive husband material. Shading him further, he claimed that his character was responsible for him not winning a Grammys despite his 2004 hit song 'African Queen'.

Furthermore, he questioned why the singer was quick to make his divorce announcement public, without first discussing it with Annie. He noted that the singer is hiding something from the public, because why would he quickly dissolve his marriage with a woman who has been with him through thick and thin of his career.

Uche Maduagwu wrote on Instagram:
"2baba is a Great DAD but a very INSENSTIVE Husband Material. 🙄 Na this character no make you win #Grammys with “AFRICAN QUEEN” song in 2004. You can not repay those who HELP you like this and expect your #music career to grow internationally. The real question is this: why did 2baba rush like Hausa #Perfume to tell Nigerians his Marriage no work again without even discussing it with Annie? What exactly is 2baba hiding from the public? Why will a man Embrrass a #Good woman who has supported him and his music career for years, been loyal, Toler*nt, and Faithful to him for years? What exactly is 2baba hiding from us?."
