Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has slammed those criticizing legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba following his divorce saga.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that social media was in disarray late on Monday following legendary singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, announcing his divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.

Weighing in on the criticisms that trailed 2Baba's announcement, Yul Edochie, via his Instagram page, slammed those criticizing the singer. He stated that anybody insulting the singer over his family issues, which are not the public's business, should be condemned.

Yul wrote on his Instagram page:
"Anybody insulting 2Baba or calling him out bcos of his family matter wey no concern you, THUNDER FIRE YOU!!!."
