Wunmi Aloba, the wife of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has accused her father-in-law of delaying the DNA test to ascertain the paternity of her son, Liam.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that late Mohbad died on September 12 2023, and up till now, the cause of the singer's death has not been ascertained. However, fingers have been pointing at the singer's former record label boss, Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.

In addition, Wunmi was also ordered to carry out a DNA test on her son, Liam, by the Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu.

In a new development, according to reports from Wunmi's lawyers, they stated that Mohbad's Father, has been the one stalling the DNA process, over the choice of hospital it should be carried out in. Wunmi stated that she refused Mohbad's father's preference for the test to be carried out in UCH Ibadan, while he also rejected her choice of Lagoon Hospitals.

Furthermore, Wunmi's lawyers noted that they suggested The Eko Hospital and Reddington Hospitals, which was rejected by Mohbad’s father.

In addition, they urged Mohbad's father to stop defaming Wunmi and her son in public, while demanding an apology from him.

Wunmi also stated that she was going to carry out the DNA test independently.
