Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, has announced the new record set by her recently released movie.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Funke Akindele released her widely anticipated movie, 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' on Friday December 13th, 2024. The movie has since gone on to set new records in the movie industry.

'Everybody Loves Jenifa' has now set new records in the Nollywood industry including, holding the record for 2024 highest grossing film with a total of N783million and counting; One day gross of all time with N107million. Cinema day admission of all time with 20,533, Boxing day gross of all time with N107 million.
