Africa Is In Economic Crisis: Davido Warns Black Americans Against Relocating To Africa
Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has advised black Americans against returning to Africa at the moment.
Speaking in a recent interview on the Big Homies House podcast, the "Unavailable" crooner addressed the thoughts of black Americans who are planning to relocate to Africa. He urged them to discontinue such a move, as the African economy is in a serious crisis at the moment.
In addition, he revealed how Africans are not able to enjoy one of their own natural resources, which is the oil, he noted that Africans pay more to get their natural resources than foreigners.
The singer admitted that he was not trying to paint Africa badly, but is in fact, telling black Americans the reality that has plagued the African continent. He revealed that the entertainment industry is what is making Africa look pleasant to the eyes.
“It’s not cool back home. The economy now is in shambles."
