Popular Nigerian music producer, Samklef, has revealed the reason why Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, best known as Davido, is always disrespected.

Samklef's explanation stems from the recent call-out of Davido and his team by YouTuber, Korty EO, who claimed that she had an interview with the singer, which he and his team asked her to re-edit, and by the time she was done, they asked her not to post the video again.

Skitmaker Nastyblaq and Davido's cousin, Adenike Adeleke took to their respective social media handles to bemoan the constant disrespect Davido gets, while trying to help people. They concluded that his easy accessibility was the reason for the disrespect.

Reacting to the situation, Samklef noted that Davido's colleague, Olamide has helped more people than Davido, yet he doesn't get disrespected, he argued that Davido always tries to look good in the face of everyone, hence the constant disrespect.

He advised Davido to desist from playing the victim whenever he helps people and becomes disrespected.

He wrote on his X handle:
“Olamide has helped a lot more people than Davido; why are people not disrespecting him? Davido brought it to himself! This is what happens when you are always trying to look good in the eyes of everybody! You dey help vase on expectations! Base on control. I gat love for him; he just needs to stop playing victims!."
