Popular veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has lambasted men who keep their exes as best friends.

The veteran actress in a lengthy post via her Instagram page started off with how people always complain when she gives her view on issues, she then questioned why a man would be married and still be in touch with his ex, even to the point of them becoming best friends.

Probing further, she asked why any man would decide to get married to a different being other than his ex, and still keep up his relationship with her.

She took it further by shading Judy Austin for being the best friend of controversial actor, Yul Edochie, before becoming his second wife, and leading to the estrangement between Yul and his first wife, May Edochie.

She wrote on Instagram:
“The Next thing now una go begin tok second wife matter.

"As a married man, you are busy keeping female besties. Your ex for that matter, if I tok now una go say Ijele you dey worry. Imagine going back to your vomit, if you love and value your relationship with your ex a lot, why didn’t you end up with her?

Why drop her? Call her your ex, marry an entirely different woman. Then go back to relate with that same ex while still married to your wife?

Have you thought about the mental and emotional stress it imposes on the women you lawfully wedded? Hmmmmm. Just hmmm”
