Popular Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun, has addressed the public for the first time since the death of his daughter, Zeenat Balogun.

Recall that the actor lost his daughter last week, and he made this known by posting an image of a candle with sad emojis on his Instagram page.

Many celebrities took to his comment section to send their condolence messages.

Saidi Balogun has now taken to his Instagram page to address everyone. He appreciated those who checked up on him, and sent condolence messages.

The actor shared a picture of his family's statement on his Instagram page.

We have been deeply moved by the overwhelming care, the heartfelt messages, and the many condolence visits. Your presence, prayers, and acts of kindness have truly touched our hearts. The love and support from friends, neighbors, and even those we have not seen in years have been a constant source of strength. Your compassion has made this challenging period more bearable, and for that, we are immensely grateful."
