Popular Nollywood actress Wunmi Toriola has been over the moon over the milestone her debut cinema movie "Queen Lateefah" attained on its opening weekend.
The Yoruba actress admonished her fans to anticipate her debut movie, promising them a movie like no other. The actress received support from her colleagues in the music industry including Funke Akindele.
The actress released the movie last week. Has been left in awe as it hit 57.7 million on its opening weekend.
This feat places the movie as the highest Nollywood opening weekend for a non-holiday weekend and the highest-ever Nollywood opening weekend by an independent distributor.
Wunmi Toriola took to Instagram to shower praises on her fans and Nigerians for making her new movie reach such a milestone.
