Popular Nigerian actress, Etinosa Idemudia has slammed filmmakers for underrating comic actors in the movie industry.

The actress argued that filmmakers should do better by praising comic actors and stop hailing actors who are good at crying or expressing intense emotions.

She stated that it is common for filmmakers to pick actors who cry in movies than actors who can easily arouse laughter from the audience.

She made her point known on X:
“Some Filmmakers, lol. It’s only when the actor is crying that the actor is deep. The actor is talented. Do you know how tough it is to make someone laugh? Do you know how deep that shit is? Every actor can cry, but not every actor can be comic. Give comic actors some credit df !."
