The controversy surrounding the death of former marlian signee, Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has been a subject of debate for sometime now.

Recently, the late singer's personal assistant, Adeyemo Boluwatife, revealed that his late boss was quickly buried by his father, Joseph Aloba who instigated the burial after collecting N2 million from Davido.

The late singer's PA made this known at the coroner’s inquest in Ikorodu on Wednesday.

Recall that Mohbad died on September 12, 2023 under unclear circumstances and was buried by his family, however, clamour from the public led to his body being exhumed to get an autopsy report.

The Lagos State government also set up an inquest which began on September 29, 2023 to investigate the cause of his death.

According to a report by Daily Post, In a recent court sitting on Wednesday, September 11, 2023, late Mohbad's personal assistant confessed to the Ikorodu magistrate court that Mohbad’s father insisted on burying him immediately after receiving N2 million from Davido.

Adeyemo also claimed that he transferred N1 million to Aloba and later gave the remaining amount to Adura, Mohbad’s younger brother, after settling hospital bills and ambulance rental fees.
