Many celebrities and netizens have been sending in tributes and emotional messages to mark the one-year remembrance of late Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

In the midst of the tributes, popular Nollywood actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola has advised many to use Mohbad's case as an eyeopener not to sacrifice themselves for others.

She took to Instagram to share an advice regarding relationships and the dangers involved in any relationship which could lead to death.

She wrote on Instagram:
“It’s been 1 year since Mohbad transitioned and a lot has happened, still happening.

“Few lessons learnt, the risk of getting your conscience dirty for wealth is not worth it in the end.

“The love for money and fear of supreme influence will turn even your blood and loved ones against you. Human survival instincts are not respecter of love, loyalty, blood or friendship.

“Poverty will forever be tool in the hands of the wealthy. Try not to put yourself forward as the sacrificial lamb for anyone (I’m doing this for my family or siblings and parents) because your sacrifice will be robbed in the mud.”
