Asake Explains Reason For Singing In Yoruba
Popular Nigerian singer and YBNL signee, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has revealed the reason for singing in Yoruba.
Many people have been questioning the reason for the singer's consistent lyrics in Yoruba, instead of English and he has continued to sing predominantly in Yoruba.
Asake, who was recently in an interactive session with his fans on social media, elucidated that he can sing in English, but he enjoys singing in Yoruba dialect.
He further stated that they should accept him like that, as he will continue to sing predominantly in Yoruba and if they are not comfortable with it, they should stop listening to his songs.
Asake said;
“I am more comfortable singing in Yoruba, it’s not that I can’t sing in English. If you fvck with me, fvck with me with my Yoruba. If not, then don’t.”
