Controversial Nigerian blogger, writer and online personality, has reacted to rumors of changing her six-year-old son, Jayce’s surname.

The reason for the rumour which she has debunked is traced to a trending video where the popular blogger referred to her son with her last name.

The video was feasted upon by many and led to suggestions that the blogger changed her six-year-old son’s surname from his father's name, Sholaye Jeremi.

The actress took to Instagram to address the rumours by stating that she has never thought of changing her son's surname, citing that he has been bearing “Ikeji” since birth. She further revealed that she has no time to change her son's surname.

She wrote in Instagram;
“Just to be clear. I’ve never ever had to change my son’s surname.

“He’s been an Ikeji right from when he was born! Where do I have the time or patience to be changing names?

Changing it and keeping his surname (Ikeji) will be up to him when he ages. Food for my Junior colleagues.”
