Popular Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has hit back at his mother for calling him out on social media.

Recall that the singer's mother took to social media in a viral video to complain that her son, Shatta Wale does not take care of her and attend to her needs. This caused huge controversy, as people began to criticize the singer.

Responding after the allegations of his mother, Shatta Wale described her outburst as shameful, as he stated that issues of the family stays in the family. He cited how he gave her four cars and rented a house in an estate for her, yet she is being ungrateful.

He said;
“I’m very disappointed in my mother for publicly making those accusations against me. She has tarnished my name to my uncles and the rest of the family. She is bringing our issues to the public for me to be criticised. We don’t handle family issues like this.

“I gave my mother 4 cars and rented a house at an estate for her. You do not know about these things yet you talk nonsense about me always. She doesn’t appreciate all the good things I did for her.”
