Netizens have been torn between supporting and criticizing the collaboration between Nigerian artistes, Rema and Shallipopi in a new song titled, “Benin Boys."

Following the release of the song, popular social media critic, Daniel Regha, has voiced out his rating of the new song and as expected, he termed it 'disappointing'.

The critic who is well known for criticizing songs and everything described the collaboration as a huge "disappointment." He cricicized Shallipopi and stated that the singer should not be regarded as an artiste.

Regha took to the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter to make his review known.

He wrote;
“Rema ft Shallipopi's "Benin Boys" is a huge d!sappointment. Shallipopi, of course, can n¤t be regarded as an artiste, but Rema who's a global sensation should've at least done better in his verse. It's unf¤rtunate cos this collab could've been a street anthem. No offense.”

Daniel Regha's criticism of the song has caused a war among netizens on social media, as some agree with him, while others disagree with him.
