Insecurity Made Me Relocate My Business To Lagos – Cubana Chief Priest
Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, fondly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has opened up on the reason for relocating his business to Lagos State in an interview with BBC Igbo.
The popular socialite revealed that the insecurity in the South East influenced his decision to relocate his business to Lagos, as the level of insecurity affected businesses badly by scaring away customers.
He further stated that customers were scared of being abducted or killed, so many of them refused to return to the south east and as a result, he had to move his business also.
He said:
“There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information.
“Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That’s why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business.”
