Popular Nigerian singer, Chinedu Okoli, best known as Flavour, has announced the death of his father, Elder Onyemaechi Okoli.

The singer made this known on the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter. The singer prayed for his Dad's soul to rest in peace in Igbo language.

He wrote in Igbo;
“My father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, rest well. God gave and God has taken.”
