Controversial Nollywood actor turned pastor, Yul Edochie, has been under fire for being absent at late Junior Pope's burial.

Yul has come out to defend himself for not being present at the actor's burial by disclosing that the late actor did him dirty, even though he made sure to come to his aid when he needed it.

He took to his Instagram story to state that his reason for being absent at the late actor's burial would soon be revealed.

He wrote;
“I didn’t want to say anything till after his burial. I know many asked why I wasn’t there. Why I haven’t said anything about it since.

“I took him like a brother & good friend. I was there for him when he needed me. But he stabbed me in the back repeatedly. That’s life!
