Fireboy Refutes Claims Of Competition Between Him And Asake
Popular Afrobeats singer and YBNL, signee, Adedamola Oyinlola Adedfolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, has opened up on the issue of competition between him and his fellow record label mate, Asake.
The singer categorically stated that contrary to popular opinion, there was no sort of competition between him and Asake, as they both worked together without any issue. The singer shed light on this in an interview with Max FM, Lagos,
The singer further disclosed that he, Asake and Olamide have a good relationship as they help each other out without any issue.
He said;
*I don’t think there is any competition in YBNL because everyone is on a different lane. We could all drop our songs one week from each other and nobody would be angry. There’s genuine love.
“There’s genuine brotherhood among us. There was a day Olamide and Asake helped loosen my hair. That moment was a very solemn moment for me. There is no competition in YBNL.”
