The social media, especially the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, was recently on fire over an online rift between Nigerian musicians, Wizkid and Davido.

Recall that Wizkid started the rift by taking a swipe at Davido, by posting a video in which Davido was begging a model for sex. Wizkid's action was in response to a fan who asked him to release a new song, which the singer posted Davido's video and captioned it with “Beg me like this." This was the beginning of the online rift that lasted for a whole day as fans of the two singers lashed at themselves on social media.

In the midst of the two artistes online feud, Davido challenged Wizkid to releasing new songs together on the same day, in order to know who is better between the two, though Wizkid has not responded.

Notorious social media critic and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha has reacted to Davido's challenge and has taken a swipe at the singer by referring to the fact that the singer does not write most of his songs.

He wrote on X;
“Davido challenged Wizkid to pick a date". It's not about dropping new music or d!ss tracks, but who wrote the songs? That's the question. No shades.”
