The popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter, was on fire yesterday over serious banters between various Nigerian artistes, while fans stood behind their favourite artistes.

In the midst of the online bants, controversial rapper, Oladipupo Oladimeji, best known as Oladips, was asked by his fans during a question and answer session on X. The rapper was asked by a fan “Who is your idol?" He replied saying, Olamide inspired him to do rap, but he raps better than Olamide. According to him he said; “Olamide! But I rap pass am."

The rapper's comment was not taken lightly as he was brutally criticized by many after his claims of being better than Olamide. One of the numerous criticism saw a social media tweet; “Okay we don hear, enter your coffin back." This tweet is a reference to Oladips death which was announced by his management last year, before it was later discovered that the rapper was still alive.
