Popular Nigerian Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has been in the news lately over the death of one of her cast in her comic series “ Jenifa’s Diary.

Recall that Funke’s cast in Jenifa's Diary, Aderounmu Adejumoke was reported dead on Saturday, 6th April, 2024 in a private hospital.

Since the death of the Adejumoke, her brother has called out Funke Akindele for refusing to render help when his sister was alive and in dire need of help.

Furthermore, many social media users have began hurling insults at Funke Akindele, one even went as far as stating that she would lose her children which caused the actor break down in tears during an Instagram live.

However, Daniel Regha has decided to surprisingly show solidarity for Funke Akindele by downplaying the hurtful words meted out to the actress.

He tweeted on X;
“Funke Akindele isn't perfect, none of us is; And no-one knows what happened behind the scenes, but it's sickening that someone would wish death on her children (for any reason). God forbid. People can be very !nsensitive at times. RIP to the late actress, may God strengthen the grieving family.”
