The social media has been thrown into ripples recently, over picture of gospel artiste, Mercy Chinwo's baby.

Recall that Mercy Chinwo recently posted a picture of her baby with her husband, the picture went viral and many praised the beauty of her baby. However, some decided to take it to another level by insinuating that Mercy Chinwo's child looks like her colleague, Nathaniel Basse, which means that Nathaniel Bassey is the father of the child.

This has led Nathaniel Bassey to take legal action and he has sued those involved for defamation of character.

In the light of this, controversial social media commentator and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha has dropped his view on the issue of Mercy Chinwo being accused of having extra marital affairs with Nathaniel Bassey.

He took to the popular microblogging platform X formerly known as Twitter to support Nathaniel Bassey's action.

He wrote;
“Nathaniel Bassey is right to take legal action against those who accused him of fathering Mercy Chinwo's son; A lot of people are fond of spreading misinformation online for obvious clout, & rumors always spread like wildfire. Peruzzi needs to do the same when next someone falsely accuses him. Same goes to Burna plus other celebs. It may seem like cheap talk but defamation of character is no joke.”
