Popular Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya has disclosed how a blog wrote derogatory remarks about her which affected her badly and almost led her to end acting.

The actress who was in an interview with Chude recounted how a blog was constantly posting bad stories and activities about her. She stated that she was really affected by the blog's post, as she was bothered about being consistently defamed out of others on the blog.

She said; “It really got to me and it damaged my self esteem and it made me doubt myself like I really don’t feel like I want to continue in this industry, I wanted to quit on several occasions.”

The actress further cited an example of one of the blog's post which really affected her, the comment is: “Nollywood, Can We Please Stop Making Beverly Naya Happen!”, the actress stated that this comment got to her that it made her downcast and made her sum up her career as useless.

The actress then stated that she has moved on now and she was now big and the blog is no longer in existence.
