Popular Nigerian actress and model Adunni Ade has revealed how hard it seems to speak Yoruba in public.

The actress who was in an interview with Channels Television emphasized how she feels drained whenever she converses in English and she is asked to converse in Yoruba.

Adunni Ade further stated that since English is the official language in Nigeria, other languages should be kept at a bare minimum. She made it known that the Yoruba language makes it easy for people to talk to her anyhow which they would not have found it easy to do in English.

The actress acknowledged her father's efforts for allowing her to understand the Yoruba language, but she believes it should be spoken minimally.

The actress's comments has generated numerous comments online as some have criticized her comments.
