DSP Bright Edafe, the Spokesman for Delta State Police Command, has spoken about the need for Iyana to be arrested provided the fan who was treated roughly tenders an official report.

Yesterday, 29th January, 2023, The Nigerian Voice released a detailed report bordering on what transpired between Iyanya and a money spender. A rancorous sensation happened at Akwa when Iyanya was performing one of his hit songs "one side"

Iyanya in a video that surfaced online aggressively pushed a fan off the stage over the claim that he was slapping his face with money. According to the Singer, Iyanya, it was absolutely disrespectful.

Iyanya's statement on the reason he acted in such manner to the fan reads:

"The guy kept slapping my face with the money and I tried to hold his hand and he continued. First, no matter by much you are spraying, don't slap someone with it. It's disrespectful."

In a recent reaction, the Spokesman for the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe in his official Twitter encouraged the maltreated fan to make an official report to the police in order to get the singer arrested.

"Normally, if that guy makes an official report, @Iyanya can be arrested for this. I come in peace"
