Popular Nigerian singer and former Mavin signee, Ayoleyi Solomon, best known as Reekado Banks, has shed light on his relationship with former record label owner, Don Jazzy.

Many Netizens insinuated that the record label owner and his former signee were not in good terms, but Reekado Banks has quashed the speculations as he disclosed that Don Jazzy was responsible for his success in the music industry.

Reekado Banks further shed light on how he got tired of life before he got signed by Don Jazzy.

He shed more light on this in a podcast with controversial media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, best known as Daddy Freeze, where he said; "That man took me from absolutely nothing. I wonder why people would think that there was a problem. There never was. Everything was amicable. The end of the contract came, I wanted to leave and he gave me his blessings. I feel it is a tradition in the industry for artists to break out angrily from a record label, and I feel that is being imposed on our relationship."
