Popular Nigerian actress, Laide Bakare who recently got a political appointment in Osun state has had to clear the air due to a trending video in which she was seen giving controversial advice to women.

The actress who advised women not to exit their marriages or relationships because of infidelity, but should rather cheat too. This advise has not sat down well with many Netizens as she has been subjected to numerous criticisms for her controversial advice.

However, controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola best known as Portable seems to be the notable person irritated by her advice to women and he has since began criticizing the actress and even shared a chat between him and the actress and accused her of sleeping with him.

Laide Bakare has since come out to defend herself from the numerous criticisms she has been subjected to due to her controversial video. She took to her Instagram handle to clear the air as she revealed that she was misunderstood, she said she was only referring to her present relationship not giving an advice.
