The Lagos State commissioner of police (CP), Fayoade Adegoke has released a fresh update on the delay in autopsy result of late musician, Mohbad.

The commissioner of police revealed on Wednesday, January 17 at the state command in Ikeja. He disclosed that the delay in the late singer's autopsy result was due to a toxicology report.

The police CP revealed that he was awaiting further information from the specialists abroad. In his words,he said; "Regarding the Mohbad case, the toxicology result is not ready and it is what is delaying the autopsy result. We have to get the report from the US. “You can recall that during the End SARS, the laboratory built by the Lagos state government was destroyed. That is why we had to go to the US to conduct toxicology."

The police, however, urged the public to remain calm as the autopsy result would be released soon and the cause of the late singer's death would be revealed.
