Sidikat Odunkanwi, a Veteran Nollywood actress, professionally known as Iyabo Oko has reportedly given up the ghost today, June 29, 2023.

The information relating to her death was announced by her daughter, Bisi Aisha via her official Facebook account. She disclosed that her mother died on Wednesday.

Her death is coming just a few weeks after The Nigerian Voice reported the death of Agoro, a Nollywood actor who was also the tallest man in Nigeria.

Bisi Aisha wrote; “My mum is gone.” she added; “May your soul rest in peace, mummy.

Although information about the nature of the death of the veteran is yet to be disclosed, the report has it that, the late actress battled a medical issue for a couple of weeks before her final death.

Stating further about the condition of the deceased, Bisi Aisha via her official Instagram page disclosed that her mum, Iyabo Oko, briefly resurrected which resulted from the faint movements of her hands 3hours after she was announced dead.

She wrote; “Wonderful being, she moved her hand after being confirmed dead 3hrs ago. God, we will forever praise ur HOLY name.”
