Davido: I Almost Sold My Father's Rolls Royce To Do Music

Davido Adeleke, a talented Nigerian singer have confessed how he sold some of his father's belongings and how he almost sold his Rolls Royce to do music.

Singer Davido who made a hit while was just 17 years old disclosed in a recent interview how he almost sold his father's, Rolls Royce to achieve his dream.

Recalling past moments while he was a young star, Davido remarked that he was so passionate about making a breakthrough in the music industry that he did all sorts of crazy things.

His passion prompted him to drop out of school to make a path for himself in music. His father found out that he was no longer in school just a year after he had left school to pursue his career.

In the interview, he recounted how he almost sold everything from his father's house to finance his music. According to him, he sold virtually all the furniture his father had in Atlanta. The craziest thing he almost did was selling his father's rolls royce after he had sold TVs and several other things.

"So I blew up, remember I said that I told him I wanted to move back, but he disagreed. I ended up dropping out; he found out that I wasn't in school for like a year. I broke into his house in Atlanta, sold all the TVs, sold his furniture. I almost sold his Rolls Royce because I was like, 'Yeah, I want to do this music,' but he didn't want me to, so I was like, 'You know what? I'm just about that crazy.'" He said partly.
