Chef Dammy Claims She Is Yet To Make Half The Money Spent On The Project

By Agboola Ibrahim

Chef Dammy, a 22-year-old Ekiti-based Chef has shed light on the financial composition and generation of her recent cook-a-thon challenge.

Chef Dammy who just finished a 120-hour cooking Marathon in Ekiti took to her Twitter handle to clear the air on the rumour circulating about the finance of the cook-a-thon project.

In the tweet, Chef Dammy disclosed that she contributed nothing financially to running the project; her pastor fully together with a few other church members funded it.

She, therefore admonishes people to stop criticizing her for the money she has generated, but they should think about the money she invested in the project as a whole.

She said, “People always criticize the money coming in but they don’t ask about the money that was used to start up the whole program. This program was fully funded by my pastor and a few members of the church. I was not involved in anything. The only thing I did in everything was to cook. I was just the face of the church.”

Furthermore, Dammy who is set to embark on a 150-hour cooking marathon has confessed how little the money she made is compared to the money she invested. She said as a matter of fact that the money she generated from the project is not up to the money that was used to set up the cooking challenge.

She knows this because all the money she generated is still in her account. She however urges critics to stop peddling rumours about her pastor.

Dammy’s words, “As a matter of fact, all the money that came in for me is not yet up to the money that was used to set up everything. And more than half of the supposed money that came in is still in my account. So ongoing rumors about my pastor should please cease.”

Dammy also restated that she is coming back for a new 150-hour cook-a-thon in July.
