The colleague and friend to the decease, Ifeoluwa Gbadegeshin, popularly known as Mr Fresh has debunked the rumour surrounding the nature of death of Nollywood actor Murphy Afolabi. He however stated coherently the true cause of his death.

During a recent interview, Mr fresh refuted the wild spread claim that Murphy Afolabi died after he slipped from his bathroom.

Contrarily, Murphy Afolab, was nursing illness prior to the day of his eventual death. According to him, it was the illness that struck him on May 15 and consequently caused his collapse.

Moreover, a nurse had checked on him moments before his death. According to Mr Fresh, on the day he died he was preparing for a movie set.

So, when he got to the bathroom to take his bath, he was struck by another round of headache. he struggled to get his composure, but things went differently.

Sadly, when the people around carried him and tried to help him, it was too late. This is contrary to reports that the late actor fell and hit his head in the bathroom.
