A-300 Level Plateau State University (PLASU) Dies After Falling From A Tall Building

A 300 level student of Microbiology in Plateau State University (PLASU), Moses Simon Gajok, has been reported dead after he fell accidentally from a building at a construction site. His sorrowful Death has caused people talking.

It is unfortunate how tragedy befall Nigerian university students who are at the verge of finishing their programme. There are however varying degrees of this tragedy. One of this is the case of Moses Simon who was confirmed dead when he was in his penultimate level of his programme in the University.

According to Gistreel, the details surrounding the incident of the 28-year-old student who worked as a carpenter remain unclear, however, it is known that he fell from the top level of the building while working.

Nevertheless, the SUG President, Comrade Peter Arin Kaze of the university has confirmed the death of Moses. In light of this, he issued a statement on April 21, 2023, confirming the incident.

In his statement he sent his condolences to the bereaved and pray that God forgive the decease.

“I want to use this medium to condole with the family of late Mr. Moses Simon, Indeed PLASITES and the family have lost a hero and will forever miss you. May God almighty forgive you your sins. May the host of angels receive your soul. May his light be with you. And above all may your soul continue to rest in peace with the Lord. Amen. Plasites are still in shock and will miss you,” the statement read."

Following a report surrounding Moses death, it is said that he will be laid to rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at his family’s property in Dahwol Loh Chak, Kuru, in the Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
