Davido: "Reason I Didn't Add Emotion To My Album"

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has just spilled out the reasons his album didn't reflect emotions.

Davido made this known in Lagos while on his Timeless album press conference.

Recall that singer Davido released his latest album, Timeless on March 23. The album which has been topping charts since its release has just 17 tracks. Contrary to expectation, all the 17 tracks didn't reflect his emotion particularly about the death of his first son, Infeanyi. In regards to this, some fans have been launching their criticism.

However, Davido while speaking in the interview maintained that his intention for the album was not to mourn or show emotion but to release a classic album.

Speaking further, he said that nobody should have expected an emotional album from him because he is always a happy artiste. He recounted that haven been in the industry for 12 years, he has always been a happy person regardless of the situation.

His words read partly;
" I don't want to add stuff into my music. I feel like it should be divided at the end of the day as you know as a musician I wanted to do my classic album. There was emotion but there was no much emotion. If you listen to Davido's music over the years I have been always been happy, weather I'm going through something or not that is the other side of my life if I want to talk about it, there is time for that.
