Ayra Starr, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has shared that she writes her songs most effectively on a plane. During a ‘Sability’ meet-and-greet with her fans, the journalist asked Ayra Starr about her songwriting inspirations, and the singer revealed that her writing process is at different times, and she writes so effectively when she’s on an airplane.
The singer stated that when she’s on an air plane, she feels very small, and it gives her a new perspective. Ayra Starr also mentioned that she collaborates well with her brother and wrote ‘Beggie Beggie’ on a bus to Sangotedo, a town in Lagos.
She added that her goal as a songwriter is to create music that will empower her, inspired by her experience in life and how she feels at the moment. The singer's hit song “Rush” gained her prominence in the Nigerian music industry, and she continues to make waves with her unique sound.
