Why I’m against Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu’s victories – Nigerian Rapper and Activist, Falz
Falz, the Nigerian rapper whose real name is Folarin Falana, has explained his opposition to the victories of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and re-elected Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Speaking as a guest on Arise TV's entertainment program "Music as a political tool," Falz cited the failure of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to adhere to election regulations as the basis for his objection.
Falz, who recently released a track titled "Mr. Yakub," expressed concern about the lack of transparency in the election process and the contradiction between INEC's stated regulations and the actual events on election day. He suggested that these inconsistencies were grounds for suspicion and that foul play may have been involved.
Falz is known for his active engagement in national issues and has been a vocal advocate for political change in Nigeria, along with several of his colleagues in the entertainment industry.
