It has come unprecedented, the sudden death of Tobi Owomoyela, a.k.a Peteru, a popular comedian and influencer. He died at the age of 35 on Wednesday, 21 December 2022.

Although the nature and cause of his death is yet to be disclosed by his family, but his colleagues have taken to social media to mourn his untimely demise.

Undoubtedly, Peteru had made a name in the South- West of Nigeria, having worked with the foremost entertainers in the industry.

Reacting to Peteru’s death, Comedian Prince, via her official Instagram page wrote;

“The ever cheerful and humble @peterucomedy1 decided to leave us few days to Christmas 😭😭 may your gentle soul rest in peace. If feels surreal 😢 the comedy industry has suffered a huge blow. God please comfort his family especially his mum during this very difficult period🙏.”
