A report from Instablog has confirmed that a Nigerian singer and songwriter, Slami Ifeanyi, is dead. He was reportedly shot de@d on Sunday morning, November 27, by yet-to-identified gunmen.

A close associate took to his social media to mourn the death of his friend, the deceased.

His words read partly: " This again tore me apart. Dude was my man from way back, hardworking, focused, talented handsome dude. And today I hear you're gone, all because Nigeria failed you.... Salami Infeanyi Of snt Rita hostel! Rip buddy"
