Yul Edochie Faces Attack From Colleague, Steps Down Presidential Ambition

Ever since the second wife saga, Yul has become one of Nollywood's controversial actor. Some many fans, followers and colleagues have criticized his decision.

His colleague, Georgina Onuoha has attacked him for justifying his actions. She affirmed that considering if they were related,she would have confiscated his mobile gadgets.

Yul Edochie had actually praised himself on his IG as he stated that marrying a second wife has brought him happiness and also elevated his two wives, as May recently signed an endorsement deal, her co-wife is now widely known and he went further to defend his actions again as he seemed happy with what he’d done.

Georgina countered him by saying there’s nothing honourable about what he’s doing now as some matters are actually meant to be private. She went further to advise him on the need to protect his family’s name and integrity, including that of his kids and, more importantly, his father, whose love, glory, and legacy he enjoys now.

“If you were my immediate younger brother, I will put you on time out and seize your phone at this point so that your wife, family, and kids can heal, for these are childish antics, ”she exclaimed.

On another note, the popular actor cum director, has also revealed why he decided not to continue with his presidential ambition.

Recall that prior to this moment, Yul had created awareness on his various social media pages while revealing why he's the best candidate for the presidential seat come 2023.

However, when aspirants began purchasing the presidential form, Yul Edochie didn't do the same, rather he took to social media to ask for sponsorship to contribute to enable him purchase the form.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, Yul explained the actual reason for backing off from the race.

According to him, after several meetings and consultations with the leaders of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA (which was the party he wanted to contest under) they arrived at a conclusion that the party doesn't have the capacity to produce the next president so he didn't move further with his plans.
