Charity Joe emerged "Face of Valentine Akwa Ibom 2021"

In a bid to encourage and develop the girl child, Akwa Ibom State came alive on Sunday 14th February, 2021 as an indigenous entertainment outfit, Xsquad Entertainment in partnership with Hotel Konokonics took Ikot Ekpene the Raffia City by storm with “Face of Valentine Akwa Ibom 2021” (6th Edition), an annual Valentine Pageant show aimed at developing the girl child and giving them a voice in the society.

The event which started with a red carpet session anchored by Miracle Atti had Guests, Face of Valentine Past Queens, Entertainment lovers and Royalties drawn within and outside the state to witness the epic event which according to the masses have given hope to the Girl child for the past 6 years.

Out of 8 Contestants who slugged out to be the next “Face of Valentine Akwa Ibom”, in which two of them backed out of the contest, it was an exciting moment when the Chief Judge Peasy Udoakagha announced Charity Joe as the Winner.

About Queen Charity Joe
Charity Edet Joe is a native of Okobo Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, born and raised in Limbe, Cameroon.

She is a 200 Level Student of Akwa Ibom State University, Obio Akpa, Akwa Ibom State.

Her motivation into pageantry is to be a leader, to help the needy, most especially the Girl Child with her pet projects to be self reliance.

She is 5fit tall with a Chocolate Skin Colour.
She likes listening to Blues and her favourite movies are Legend of the Seeker and Merlin.

Others who won at the contest as 1st and 2nd runner ups are Julia Robert (Face of Hotel Konokonics), Winnie Abang (Face of Valentine Akwa Ibom Culture & Tourism) as well as Achiever Ottong (Face of Valentine Akwa Ibom Hospitality).

Following the announcement, the newly crowned Queens are expected to kick off their Pet Projects while working together with other Queens and in partnership with NGOs, Corporate Bodies, Companies and the Government to give back to the society.
