Take 5: Rita Dominic
Nollywood starlet, Rita Dominic, talks about five of her favourite movies.
Face/Off
"It is one film I love and can watch everyday, ten times over! Considering the year it was shot (1997), Nicholas Cage and John Travolta interpreted their roles perfectly. The story was fantastic and very well done."
Keeping Faith
"It is one very beautiful Nigerian movie, which, when it was shot a few years back, Nollywood and the public hadn't seen anything like that. It 'upped' our game and was refreshingly different."
30 Days
"This is another Nigerian movie I really love. It was well shot, had a good cast and a fantastic story line. I think these are the type of movies we should be doing at this stage in Nollywood. It was written, produced and directed by Mildred Okwo."
Breakfast at Tiffany's
"I am in love with this 1961 timeless classic, which starred Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. Hepburn's performance in the movie is said to be one of her most memorable and challenging roles as an actress."
The Godfather
"I was really impressed with Al Pacino's role in the movie. I think it is a timeless classic. I have also been watching the Sopranos lately and now have a better understanding about the way Italian-American mafia families operate."
