Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, is 70 and the family has not been able to hide how they feel seeing their father and grandfather turn a year older.

Son of the actor, Yul Edochie, briefly appreciated his father with prayers as he hopes that God will preserve his life for many more years to come.

According to Yul, “Happy 70th birthday to my father, Chief Pete Edochie. I thank God for your life and i pray you see many more great years. God be with you always Dad!”

Pete is not just described as a veteran for nothing because he could also be said to be one the pioneers of Nollywood which today has emerged as the highest employer of labour and has helped the country’s GDP.

His movies are uncountable as he still graces various movie location if need be and he has also been able to groom his family and today, his children have made him proud as he continues to stay scandal free.
