The singer in an interview with Nigezie recently, disclosed that growing up was not easy for him as he had to struggle along with his younger ones because his parents were separated.

He revealed that his parents went their separate ways when he was six years of age and had to move to Lagos, with the determination to make it and bring happiness to his mother.

According to him, “Ok seriously it wasn't rosy because parents separated when I was 6 n my siblings and I moved with Mindy to Lagos. It kind of made our ties stronger as we all did our best to be there for each other. I for one decided never to do anything to bring tears ... out of my mum’s eyes except for tears of joy. I have been in situations where remembering how I came up helped me make d right decisions.”
