Controversial Nigerian comedian, Baba De Baba, has once again been put under fire for not airing his opinion on the protest which took place today in some parts of Lagos and he sure has his reasons.

The comedian in his opinion stated that there could be possibilities that those that wanted to sponsor the protest did not bring out money as promised which is why 2face pulled out.

According to him, “They said I didn't say anything about the 2face protest. I didn't bother to talk about it because I knew it won't hold. Maybe the sponsors of the protest didn’t bring out money as promised and 2face don't want to pay his colleagues from his pocket because musicians don't do anything for free.

“He's now claiming that some people want to hijack the protest as if he informed the police before. ta! I really feel the plight of those organizations that wanted to take advantage of the protest to be known.. Although they have insisted that they would go on with the protest. Hian, the initiator of the protest say him no do again, which one come be una own?

“I also feel the pain of some old musician who can no longer afford to promote their songs on radio/TV as they will be feeling disappointed because they wanted to join the protest in order to share their promo CDs. Meanwhile, I believe in the fight for a good Nigeria so don't get me wrong... I don't just trust musicians.”
