Flying Eagles Player, Uzama Douglas Shot Dead
According to emanating reports, Nigerian footballer with Gombe United, Uzama Douglas, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.
The player, who was a former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles invitee, was said to have been shot dead while on a outing with some of his friends.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital as the team is still in shock over the sudden news.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Stars FC have commiserated with the team on their Twitter handle, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Gombe United FC on the death of their defender, Douglas Uzama,"
