The anticipated premiere of FilmOne Distribution's romantic comedy “When Love Happens Again” held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Filmhouse IMAX, Lekki.
The event had a host of celebrities in attendance including D'banj, Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Enyinna Nwigwe, Chika Ike, DJ Spinall, Nikki Laoye, Chigurl, Lala Akindoju, Udoka Oyeka, Funny Bone, Ehiz, Kiki Omeili, Seyi Babatope, Jimmy and many more.
Speaking at the event, the director of the movie, Seyi Babatope said “'When love happens again' is a romantic comedy, a sequel to my first film 'When love happens' which was released in 2014. I decided to make this movie so as to grow the business by doing things differently but strategically.
This is an avenue for us to grow together and I wanted to franchise the movie. The movie is purely entertainment – about Nigerian people looking beautiful and falling in and out of love.” Continuing, he said, “I hope it's successful, I mean this is business as much as it is entertainment. It's for people to enjoy it critically and commercially. This movie was conceived for anybody who has had a bad day to be entertained.”
